Korean Skincare

Hello everyone!
Here is Diangie and today I would like to talk to you about something that here in Italy does not all know: Korean skincare.
I’m fascinated by Asia, but especially by Korea so I got to know how Koreans cure their skin, initially I could not figure out how to have a skin so smooth and free of blemishes but finally a few months ago I discovered their secret.

Something you should know before you start is that not only Korean girls take care of their skin carefully but also boys, consequently in Korea you will see around streets a moltitude of boys and also men that have a perfect skin and sometimes they will also wear makeup.

Their skincare is so efficient because it consists of ten steps and each has a specific product that gives skin characteristics.

STEP 1: Double Cleanse pt.1

Koreans begin their skincare with a method called “double cleanse”. The first half of this procedure involves the use of cleansing wipes to eliminate all traces of makeup from the eyes and lips. Subsequently remove the excess sebum and the bacteria using an oil-based cleanser and warm water to rinse the face. The oily cleanser eliminates the impurities of the skin without damaging it.

STEP 2: Double cleanse pt.2

Proper skin cleansing is the key to skin without imperfections and no acne, so they opt for a double cleansing with a foaming cleanser. Don’t rub, circular movements will make the difference.

STEP 3: Exfoliation

Subsequently, you must exfoliate the face skin with a scrub every night so the dead cells are removed. You should concentrate only on the areas that most require it like nose and cheeks.

STEP 4: Tighten with a toner

As a next step you have to use an astringent toner as it removes all the residues from the previous three steps and in the meantime soothes the skin and sets the pH.

STEP 5: Essence

Essence is one of the most important stages of Korean skincare because it is a concentrated nutrient fluid that speeds up the process of cell renewal.

STEP 6: Essence again

Korean skincare provides a rich essence of vitamins because it prevents collagen and elasticity loss of the face.

STEP 7: Sheet mask

Three times a week, you should use a sheet mask that is a simple mask that gives you hydration. Sheet maskS could also be applied to the lips and under the eyes.

STEP 8: Eye Cream

Since preventing it is much better than curing, Koreans use eye cream to prevent wrinkles and dark circles.

STEP 9: Emulsifying

As a penultimate step, Koreans use an emulsifier or moisturizer since it hydrates the skin and allows blood circulation.

STEP 10: Sleeping pack

“Sleeping pack” is nothing more than a moisturizer that keeps the skin hydrated overnight.
