The year is coming to an end now and of course, I emptied products this year.
Some of these are almost finished, like a couple more uses and then they’re done, I don’t have expired products, as this is my first year with k-beauty. Anyways enough babbling, let’s get on with it.
Nature Republic – Aloe Vera Soothing Gel
This lasted me about 3 and a half months, it was awesome for summer, as its lightweight and it was really moisturizing. As fall came in it just wasn’t as moisturizing as my skin needed. I want to try other lightweight moisturizers when summer comes around again.
Despite that, this was a pretty good product. It does have alcohol so if you have sensitive skin I wouldn’t recommend this.

$8
Pros
- Good for summer/Lightweight;
- Really Moisturizing because of the aloe;
- Cheap and Lasts a long time.
Cons
- Alcohol;
- Not enough for drier and cold weather.

ByWishtrend – C21.5 Serum
This was my first vitamin C serum, I treated this thing like a baby, it was either in the fridge 98 percent of the time. It lasted a really long time, about 4 months, and it was on its last legs, but then the rest oxidized. I wasn’t really mad about it because there was just a tiny bit left, I could hardly reach it with the dropper. I’d repurchase after I try other vitamin c products.
Price
$25
Pros
- Really brightened my complexion
- Helped with Acne scarring
- Didn’t oxidize fast
Cons
- High Maintenance
Dear, Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner
This toner is the perfect example of the products I live for, and the reason I became so obsessed with K-beauty- the hydrating layers. I truly believe it’s these types of products that have given me the healthy, happy skin I’m proud of today. The toner is a perfect addition to my hydrating routine, and suitable for all year round. My skin isn’t particularly sensitive, but I can see this being a nice calming option for those who do.
Price
$18
Pros
- Super Hydrating
- Lasts Forever
- Reasonable Price(Still a bit pricey)
Cons
- Citrus Peel and Lavender Oil
