How To Style: Layered Sweater

It’s starting to get chilly everywhere and that’s the perfect weather or time to wear sweaters!!

Normally some wear sweaters alone or over tank tops and some wear vests on top of sweaters but there’s this trend I’ve been seeing where it’s kind of preppy in a way but you wear collared shirts under sweaters and over other things.

Here are a few from the trend that I like.

What I like most about this outfit is the colour scheme. Although this outfit doesn’t really have a collared shirt it still gives off a layering look with what looks like a dress.

This is definitely a collared shirt layered sweater and I find it very cute and fitting for work.

This look has a sweater layered over a long sleeve shirt which is very unique. Normally you wouldn’t think to wear sleeve over sleeve but it’s not unusual in Korea where they even put on long sleeves under short sleeved shirts or under denim jackets.

This sweater is layered over a long-sleeved shirt as well but this sweater seems more cropped so that it layers over the undershirt perfectly showing the pleated detail.

Another one with a sweater layered over a dress. This one is much more apparent that it’s a dress.

This one has the collars tucked in but the hems are much longer than the sweater. You can also tuck in the hems if you don’t want them shown. In this picture, it looks like the sleeves of the sweater are rolled a bit. That’s also an option if your sweater is too long compared to the undershirt.

This undershirt is patterned in this one compared to the rather dull solid color of the sweater.

Lastly, this outfit seems to have some grunge like feel to it and the undershirt has a denim texture look.

So those are some ways to style sweaters as layerables.
