The “capsule skincare” trend has become one of my favorites. Today, I’m reviewing the J.One Hana Cream. J.One is a Korean beauty brand created by the actress Ha Ji-won; it started with the brand’s top-selling Jelly Pack but the Hana Cream shines brighter for me because each jar comes with pre-portioned spheres of a luxurious moisturizer. Although it’s marketed as an anti-wrinkle cream, I’d recommend it for dry, dehydrated and mature skin types but also as a normal moisturizer.

How To Use:

  • After cleansing, toning, and serum steps, use the included spatula to portion out one capsule.
  • Crush it between the palms and gently press it into the skin until absorbed.

The Packaging

 The packaging of this cream is very high end looking because of its sleek fronted jar and its white lid.
It looks expensive so I wouldn’t recommend you travel with this cream because it’s heavy and bulky.
What disappointed me a little bit was the fact that there isn’t English instruction but only in Korean; I had to do some research on the Internet to finally discover more.
Once you unscrew the lid there’s a plastic cover that keeps the moisture in and doesn’t dry the balls up.
Inside you’ll find the cream in little balls. You will only need one of this little spheres to cover your face and your neck.
The consistency is sticky and creamy but doesn’t leave the skin greasy and oily. When I use it, I take a ball with the little spatula and put it in the middle of my palm; then I break it up with my fingertip and apply it on my face and neck massaging gently.
I love the way this cream leaves my skin because it’s not oily but very hydrated.

The Smell

I love too the smell of this cream because it’s delicate and it’s not strong and suffocating.

Pros.

  • Good hydration;
  • innovating packaging;
  • doesn’t irritate the skin;
  • floral fragrance;
  • anti-wrinkle.

Cons.

  • a little too much expensive;
  • is not good for traveling.

Will I buy it?

Yes, I will definitely buy it because I think that it’s much better than some moisturizer that you can find on the market nowadays.
